If life were perfect, we’d have nothing to learn…
We’d be blissfully unaware ~
We’d experience life in the same mindless way…
We’d be totally unprepared
For the adventure that awaits on the other side,
A culmination of the life we’ve lived
Enriched by the people, places and things
That have taught us how to give ~
A “perfect” life teaches nothing at all
When challenges cease to exist ~
It’s the hurdles we face and overcome
That inevitably add the grist ~
Be present each day in the here and now
And learn to bless all things
Which help us discern and evaluate
And ultimately stretch our wings ~
As we take flight and soar through each day
It becomes easier to see
That life is perfect with all of its faults…
It’s the learning that turns the key ~
